[origin: EP0620400A1] Various accessories are to be able to be fastened to a ceiling light fixture in a simple and reliable manner, without adjustment and with tools which are as simple as possible. The ceiling light fixture (2) has a cover ring (6) with an edge groove (62). A mounting (10) which has a clamp-like upper part (13) can be suspended in this edge groove. A lower part (14) of the mounting is constructed to have the shape of a shoe and rests against the outside of the cover ring. The mounting parts have centring surfaces (133 respectively 145), which are constructed with mirror-image symmetry and are at a slight angle with respect to each other, and become tensioned against one another during assembly so as to bear against the cover ring in a tolerance-free manner. A spacer block (9) is constructed so as to be placable into the mounting (10) and a clamping element (11) for accommodating an accessory (7) is constructed so as to be placable and secure against rotation. The fastening device is thus self-adjusting. The fastening device can be used, in particular for interior spaces, for luminaires which are attached, for surface-type luminaires and built-in luminaires. <IMAGE>
