[origin: WO9411137A1] A device is disclosed for controlling the stopper (5) of a metallurgical vessel (1), in particular the distribution gutter of a continuous casting plant having an up-and-down movable stopper (5) supported in a bearing frame (10) movable with respect to the metallurgical vessel (1). The bearing frame for the up-and-down movable stopper (5) is supported outside of the metallurgical vessel (1) so as to move transversely to the reciprocal movement (11) of the stopper (5) and is detachably and lockably linked to the metallurgical vessel (1). The stopper mechanism (9) may thus be easily separated from the metallurgical vessel (1), without extensive manipulations, so that for example the metallurgical vessel (1) may be exchanged without having to dismount the whole stopper mechanism (5, 9).

Un dispositif sert à commander la quenouille (5) d'un récipient métallurgique (1), notamment d'une rigole de distribution d'une installation de coulée continue, ayant une quenouille (5) levable et abaissable soutenue dans un cadre de support (10) mobile par rapport au récipient métallurgique (1). Le cadre de support de la quenouille (5) levable et abaissable est soutenu à l'extérieur du récipient métallurgique (1) de manière à pouvoir se déplacer transversalement au mouvement alternatif (11) de la quenouille (5). Il est lié au récipient métallurgique (1) de manière amovible et verrouillable. Les éléments mécaniques de la quenouille (9) peuvent ainsi être aisément séparés du récipient métallurgique (1), sans grandes manipulations, ce qui permet par exemple d'échanger le récipient métallurgique (1) sans avoir à démonter tous les éléments mécaniques de la quenouille (5, 9).
