[origin: WO9309293A1] Described is a pile-fabric strip floor-covering for sports surfaces, in particular synthetic-grass surfaces. The floor-covering has a substrate which has apertures in it and is therefore permeable to water. Attached to the substrate are pile elements which form the pile, plus a thick elastic layer of plastic material on the underside of the substrate. To increase the water-retention capacity of the floor-covering, the plastic layer is made of open-cell cellular-plastic material, and there is a storage layer with water-retention properties on the underside of the cellular-plastic layer.

Bande de revêtement de sol réalisée sous la forme d'un article à poil, pour terrains de sport, notamment en gazon artificiel, comprenant une bande support munie d'ouvertures, et par conséquent perméable à l'eau, des éléments de poil formant le poil fixés sur cette bande support, ainsi qu'une couche de matière plastique épaisse et élastique, appliquée sur le revers de la bande support. En vue d'accroître le taux de rétention d'humidité de la bande de revêtement, la couche de matière plastique est constituée par un produit mousse à alvéoles ouverts, et une couche accumulatrice à propriétés d'accumulation d'eau est appliquée sur le revers de la couche de produit mousse.
