Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bandumreifungsvorrichtung mit einem das Packstück 11 schleifenförmig umgebenden Kanal 10 an den eine Verschließ-, Zuführ- und Spanneinrichtung angebaut sind, die jeweils von einem Drehstrommotor angetrieben werden und die den Strom von einem gemeinsamen Frequenzumrichter 14 beziehen und die Frequenz des Stromes zur Veränderung der Drehzahl des Drehmomentes und der Phasenlage verändert wird. <IMAGE>
