[origin: WO9313974A1] A rear wheel suspension for a bicycle includes paired lower arm members (2, 102) pivotally connected to the bicycle frame seat tube (14) such that they can pivot about an axis (20) situated above the center of the bottom bracket, paired upper arm members (3, 103) adapted to receive the rear wheel axle (24) at hub points located on an axis situated above their lower ends and pivotally connected to the respective lower arm members such that they can pivot about an axis (4) near the rear ends of the lower arm members, and a device (5 or 10) associated with the upper ends of the upper arm members and pivotally connected to an upper pivot point (6) on the seat tube for limiting the path and the extent of movement of the upper ends of the upper arm members.

Une suspension de roue arrière pour une bicyclette comporte des bras inférieurs appariés (2, 102) reliés en pivot au tube de selle (14) du cadre de telle manière qu'ils peuvent pivoter autour d'un axe (20) situé au-dessus du centre du support inférieur, des bras supérieurs appariés (3, 103) destinés à recevoir l'axe de roue arrière (24) au niveau des points du moyeu disposés sur un axe situé au-dessus de leurs extrémités inférieures et reliés en pivot aux bras inférieurs respectifs de telle manière qu'ils peuvent pivoter autour d'un axe (4) à proximité des extrémités arrières des bras inférieurs, ainsi qu'un dispositif (5 ou 10) associé aux extrémités supérieures des bras supérieurs et relié en pivot à un point de pivotement supérieur (6) sur le tube de selle afin de limiter la course et l'étendue du mouvement des extrémités supérieures des bras supérieurs.
