The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner body comprising two compartments (2, 3) separated by a dividing wall (4) comprising a hole (5) for the passage of air, namely a first compartment (2) containing a dustbag, and a second compartment containing a vacuum unit (6), a cable self-winder (7), and various control modules. According to the invention, the second compartment (3) contains a box (8) housing the vacuum unit (6) and on which is additionally mounted the cable self-winder (7) and the various control modules, said box (8) being fastened to said second compartment by attachment means. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un boîtier d'aspirateur de poussières comportant deux compartiments (2,3) séparés par une cloison (4) comportant un orifice d'écoulement d'air (5), soit un premier compartiment (2) recevant un sac de poussières , soit un deuxième compartiment recevant un groupe d'aspiration (6), un auto-enrouleur de câble (7), et différents modules de commande. Selon l'invention, le deuxième compartiment (3) contient un caisson (8) qui renferme le groupe d'aspiration (6) et sur lequel est monté, en outre, l'auto-enrouleur (7) de câble et les différents modules de commande, ledit caisson (8) étant solidaire dudit deuxième compartiment par des moyens d'attache. <IMAGE>
