In an apparatus for cleaning the wiping cylinder (1) of an intaglio printing machine, including several cleaning elements in contact with the periphery of the wiping cylinder, these being formed by brushes (4) and/or scrapers (3) as well as by means of a row of nozzles (7) ejecting a cleaning liquid, the first cleaning element (5) in contact with the surface of the cylinder is made of a textile material, preferably composed of porous synthetic fibres, in the form of a strip which is mounted, folded-back on itself, on and along a rigid support (6), so as to extend beyond the latter. <IMAGE>

Dans une installation de nettoyage du cylindre d'essuyage (1) d'une machine pour l'impression taille-douce, comportant plusieurs éléments de nettoyage au contact de la périphérie du cylindre d'essuyage constitués par des brosses (4) et/ou des râcles (3) ainsi qu'au moins une rangée de buses (7) éjectant un liquide de nettoyage, le premier élément de nettoyage (5) en contact avec la surface du cylindre est en matière textile, de préférence en fibres synthétiques poreuses sous forme de bande qui est montée repliée sur elle-même sur et le long d'un support (6) rigide, de manière à déborder de celui-ci. <IMAGE>
