The covering section member (3) comprises a generally U-shaped internal housing delimited by two lateral branches and a transverse upright; the first lateral branch has a coupling or snap-fastening shoulder and is elastically deformable to a first level of deformation, having a thickness (g) smaller than the mean thickness of the section member, at least in the area where elastic deformation is needed; the internal housing comprises a first bearing zone (22a) corresponding to the coupling shoulder or located close to the snap-fastening shoulder, a second bearing zone located on the same side of the internal housing and a third bearing zone located on the second lateral branch and situated at an intermediate distance between the two first bearing zones. The section member (3) covers either a panel (14) or a section member (2) for fixing the panel, after insertion of one or other of these into the internal housing. The combination of the covering section member (3) and the fixing section member (2) constitutes a frame element for the panel. <IMAGE>

Le profilé de recouvrement (3) comporte un logement intérieur globalement en U délimité par deux branches latérales et un montant transversal, la première branche latérale présente un épaulement d'accrochage ou d'encliquetage et est déformable élastiquement selon un premier niveau de déformation, ayant une épaisseur (g) moindre que l'épaisseur moyenne du profilé, au moins dans la zone où la déformation élastique est nécessaire ; le logement intérieur comporte une première zone d'appui (22a) correspondant à l'épaulement d'accrochage ou située près de l'épaulement d'encliquetage, une deuxième zone d'appui située du même côté du logement intérieur et une troisième zone d'appui située sur la seconde branche latérale et localisée à une distance intermédiaire entre les deux premières zones d'appui. Le profilé (3) recouvre soit un panneau (14) soit un profilé (2) de fixation du panneau, après introduction de l'un ou l'autre dans le logement intérieur. La combinaison du profilé de recouvrement (3) et du profilé de fixation (2) constitue un élément d'encadrement du panneau. <IMAGE>
