[origin: DE4314242C1] The signal horn includes a housing (1) and a membrane (2) which is connected to the housing at its edges. The housing and membrane form a chamber (3). An electromagnetic drive (4) and a magnetic armature (5) are arranged inside the chamber. The armature has a mandrel attachment (6) which is inserted through a central opening in the membrane. A connecting channel connects the chamber to the surroundings. The central opening is a four edged hole whose edge spacing is slightly greater than the diameter of the mandrel attachment. ADVANTAGE - Has connection channel formed in simple and relatively inexpensive way. Easier to mount. No particular angular orientation must be observed.
