Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Löschen eines Tanklagers, bei dem mit Silan gefüllte Tanks in einer Auffangwanne stehen. Im Brandfalle wird die Auffangwanne mit CO2 geflutet und gleichzeitig eine Schaumschicht aufgegeben, die von einem Lochblech getragen wird. <IMAGE>
