Abstract (en)
A pattern of an original document is transferred onto a substrate, for example a metal plate, with the aid of an intermediate substrate which is a laser copy of the original document. The metal plate is provided on one surface with a layer of lacquer which is dried at a raised temperature. Because of the application of heat and pressure, the pattern-forming material penetrates into the layer of lacquer softened thereby, which subsequently hardens. A weather-proof and scratch-proof copy of the original document is produced.

Ein Motiv einer Originalvorlage wird mit Hilfe eines Zwischenträgers, der eine Laserkopie der Originalvorlage ist, auf einen Träger, z. B. eine Metallplatte übertragen. Die Metallplatte ist auf einer Oberfläche mit einer Lackschicht versehen, die bei erhöhter Temperatur getrocknet wird. Das motivbildende Material dringt aufgrund der Anwendung von Wärme und Druck in die dadurch erweichte Lackschicht ein, die in der Folge aushärtet. Es entsteht eine witterungsbeständige und kratzfeste Kopie der Originalvorlage.
