[origin: EP0623519A1] A cardboard blank (1) for erecting a folding box, having a bottom section (2) to which four side walls (7, 15; 8, 16; 9, 17; 10, 18) are linked, which are at least partially provided with laterally linked sealing flaps (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26), the side walls being of two-part construction with an inside-wall section (7, 8, 9, 10), linked to the bottom section (2) and forming the inside wall of the folding box, and an outside-wall section (15, 16, 17, 18) linked to said inside-wall section and forming the outside wall of the folding box, and having sealing flaps (19, 20, 21, 22) which are linked laterally to two mutually opposite inside-wall sections (8, 10) and are clamped between the inside-wall section and the outside-wall section of the adjacent side wall when the folding box is erected. <IMAGE>
