The invention relates to a switchgear (points) for overhead conveyors, comprising at least one so-called mobile rail section, which is intended to connect the ends of at least two stationary rails together mechanically. It is characterised in that the free end of the mobile section is supported substantially over its entire travel by a suspension element (25) connecting the said free end to at least one support point (26) which, located above the plane defined by the travel of the said mobile section in question, is substantially on the axis (24) of the articulation means of the mobile section, so as to form a triangulation. <IMAGE>

L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif d'aiguillage pour convoyeurs suspendus comprenant au moins un tronçon de rail, dit mobile, destiné à relier entre elles, mécaniquement, les extrémités d'au moins deux rails fixes. Il est caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité libre du tronçon mobile est soutenue sensiblement sur la totalité de sa trajectoire par un élément (25) de suspension reliant ladite extrémité libre à au moins un point d'appui (26) qui, situé au dessus du plan défini par la trajectoire dudit tronçon mobile considéré, est sensiblement sur l'axe (24) du moyen d'articulation du tronçon mobile de manière à former une triangulation. <IMAGE>
