[origin: WO9309295A1] In the production of emulsion concrete to be laid out as a road material it is customary that the applied stone fractions are mixed together with a binder, which is a bitumen emulsion based on a relatively low viscid bitumen, as the material would otherwise be very difficult to shape by the laying operation. According to the invention the coarse stone fraction is pretreated with a rapid breaking emulsion based on high viscid bitumen, and only thereafter the fine stone fraction with low viscid binder is added. Thereby it is possible to maintain a good shapeability of the material and yet obtain a significantly improved bonding of or in the laid out material.

Dans de la production de béton émulsionné destiné à être posé sous forme de matériau routier, il est habituel de mélanger les morceaux de pierre à un liant constitué d'une émulsion bitumineuse à base de bitume relativement peu visqueux facilitant la mise en forme du matériau pendant l'opération de pose. On a prévu de soumettre les morceaux grossiers de pierre à un traitement préalable avec une émulsion à rupture rapide et à base de bitume fortement visqueux, puis d'ajouter le mélange de petits morceaux de pierre et de liant peu visqueux. On arrive ainsi à maintenir l'aptitude du matériau à être mis en forme, tout en assurant une liaison sensiblement améliorée du matériau posé.
