The utility model in question relates to a locking and unlocking device for chairs in which the seat is fixed to a support (10) that tilts on a fixed component and relative to this fixed component, which has a row of parallel plates (11). The device comprises a rigid tie (13) which extends through the plates (11) and is shifted axially from the locked position to the unlocked position by means of a lever and with the help of a spring (14) which normally tends to keep the tie (13) in the locked position. The operating lever (14) acts on the tie (13) through an intermediate ball (20) and has a radial cavity (22) into which part of the ball (20) fits in order to define the locked position of the tie (13). <IMAGE>

Le modèle utilitaire en question concerne un dispositif de blocage et déblocage pour des chaises dont l'assise est fixée à un support (10) basculant sur un élément fixe et par rapport à cet élément fixe qui est équipé d'un empilage de lames parallèles (11). Le dispositif comprend un tirant rigide (13) qui traverse les lames (11) et que l'on déplace axialement de la position de blocage à la position de déblocage au moyen d'un levier et avec l'aide d'un ressort (14) qui tend normalement à maintenir le tirant (13) dans la position de blocage. Le levier de manoeuvre (14) agit sur le tirant (13) par l'intermédiaire d'une sphère interposée (20) et il dispose d'une cavité radiale (22) où vient se loger une partie de sphère (20) afin de définir la position de une partie de sphère (20) afin de définir la position de blocage du tirant (13). <IMAGE>
