[origin: EP0624885A1] The subject of the present invention is a cable intended to be used in the telecommunications field, having a coaxial structure consisting of a metal core (3) surrounded by at least two layers of which one is a layer (2) of dielectric material, characterised in that the other layer (1), placed between the said core (3) and the said layer (2) of dielectric material over at least part of the length of the cable, is a layer of semiconductor composite material comprising an insulating matrix and a non-doped conductive polymer having conjugated bonds, the said cable thus becoming a cable which intrinsically filters the electromagnetic interference which it conducts in the range of frequencies below 1 GHz. <IMAGE>
