The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the distance (clearance) between the working cylinders and the main cylinder and/or between the doffer roller and the main cylinder in a carding machine. Device characterised in that it consists, for each working cylinder (1) and/or for the doffer roller, of a support and mounting means (4) whose position can be adjusted on the frame (2) of the machine and which interacts with a positioning device (5) which has automatic adjustment. La présente invention concerne un dispositif de réglage de la distance entre les cylindres travailleurs et le grand tambour et/ou entre le peigneur et le grand tambour sur une carde. Dispositif caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué, pour chaque cylindre travailleur (1) et/ou pour le peigneur, par un moyen (4) de support et de montage réglable en position sur le bâti (2) de la machine et coopérant avec un dispositif (5) de positionnement à réglage automatique.
