The apparatus contains a continuous yarn channel (13, 14, 15) of circular cross-section. Three blowing-medium feed bores (16, 17) open out in a cylindrical middle portion (14) of the yarn channel (13, 14, 15). The axes of the blowing-medium feed bores (16, 17) intersect the axis of the yarn channel (13, 14, 15) at a common point, each at an angle of 15 to 40@. By means of the apparatus, it is possible to treat a multifilament yarn (M1), which is fed to the yarn channel (13, 14, 15) with an over-delivery of 0 to 15 % and which is drawn off from the apparatus transversely to the axis of the yarn channel (13, 14, 15), in such a way that the filaments of the yarn are intertwisted with one another uniformly over the length of the yarn and, at the same time, form no projecting loops. <IMAGE>

Die Vorrichtung enthält einen durchgehenden, im Querschnitt kreisrunden Garnkanal (13, 14, 15). In einem zylindrischen mittleren Abschnitt (14) des Garnkanals (13, 14, 15) münden drei Blasmedium-Zufuhrbohrungen (16, 17). Die Achsen der Blasmedium-Zufuhrbohrungen (16, 17) schneiden die Achse des Garnkanals (13, 14, 15) in einem gemein- samen Punkt je unter einem Winkel von 15 bis 40°. Mit der Vorrichtung ist es möglich, ein Multifilamentgarn (M1), das dem Garnkanal (13, 14, 15) mit einer Ueberlieferung von 0 bis 15% zugeführt wird und das quer zur Achse des Garnkanals (13, 14, 15) aus der Vorrichtung abgezogen wird, so zu behandeln, dass die Filamente des Garns über die Länge des Garns gleichförmig miteinander verflochten werden und dabei keine abstehenden Schlingen bilden. <IMAGE>
