[origin: EP0625806A1] For an electrical equipment plug (24) having an insulating material housing and spring chambers (22) which are open to the exterior and to which in each case one contact spring (21) is inserted, the contact springs being connected on the one hand to the electrical conductors and to the protective-earth conductor of a supply lead (23), the insulating material housing consisting of a non-elastic moulding (20) having the spring chambers and of a plug part (25) which is moulded on and insulates the contact points between the contact springs (21) and the conductors of the supply lead, and a retaining plate (10) being provided, which is fitted onto the non-elastic moulding (20) before the plug part (25) is moulded on and is fitted with the contact springs (21) corresponding to the arrangement of the spring chambers (22), it is provided for a protective cap (1) to be fitted onto the second side of the retaining plate (10), which protective cap (1) reaches over the connecting pins (11), including the conductor ends of the supply lead (23). <IMAGE>
