[origin: WO9316924A1] The invention relates to a device for controlling the packaging means feed to a sweet packing machine dependently upon the level of the contents of the pairs of holders of a sweet conveyor. According to the invention, a pair of control cams (26, 27) divided into an inner and an outer cam half (26', 27', 26'', 27'') is formed as a compact set of cams to control a moving extractor roll (5) for the packaging feed and the inner and outer cam halves are solidly coupled but relatively rotatable to adjust the cam intersections (saddle points) (36, 36'). This provides a particularly compact construction and the accurate feed of packaging means which avoids losses of packaging means, the actual presence of sweets between the pairs of holders of the sweet conveyor being detected.
