Um im Abstand zueinander verstellbare Walzen (1, 2) eines Druckwerkes einer Rotationsdruckmaschine bei geringem zeit- und gerätetechnischem Aufwand auf Berührung einzustellen, weist eine erfindungsgemäße optische Einrichtung (5) einen Sender (3) und einen Empfänger (4) auf, wobei Sender (3) und Empfänger (4) einander gegenüberliegend beiderseits des Walzenspalts positioniert sind und der Empfänger (4) mit einer Anzeigevorrichtung (8) verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
