The invention relates to a control device for a spinning machine, with a central control unit connected via a bus to a plurality of sensors or actuators of the spinning machine, there being an intelligent multi-function module (8) which is connected via the bus (3) to the central control unit which has one or more inputs (IN1 to INn) or outputs (OUT1 to OUTm), at least one input or output of which is connected to a sensor (9, 10) or actuator (11). The intelligent multi-function module (8) serves essentially for the independent processing of the signals from the sensors (9, 10) and for controlling the actuators (11). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Steuervorrichtung für eine Spinnereimaschine mit einer zentralen Steuereinheit, welche über einen Bus mit mehreren Sensoren oder Aktoren der Spinnereimaschine verbunden sind, wobei eine intelligente Multifunktionsbaugruppe (8) vorhanden ist, welche über den Bus (3) mit der zentralen Steuereinheit verbunden ist und welche einen oder mehrere Eingänge (IN1 bis INn) oder Ausgänge (OUT1 bis OUTm) aufweist, von denen zumindest ein Eingang oder Ausgang mit einem Sensor (9, 10) oder Aktor (11) verbunden ist. Dabei dient die intelligente Multifunktionsbaugruppe (8) im wesentlichen zur selbständigen Verarbeitung der Signale der Sensoren (9, 10) und Steuerung der Aktoren (11). <IMAGE>
