Device for assembly between a lock assembly (10) and an actuator cam (22) previously assembled into a steering lock casing (20) for a motor vehicle, the said lock assembly (10) having at the end of a rotor (12) a coupling snout (34) intended to interact with a housing (48) in the actuator cam (22), characterised in that it comprises, associated with first translational securing means (24, 26, 44) which are active regardless of the relative angular positions of the lock assembly (10) and of the actuator cam (22), second translational securing means (38) which are active for at least one predetermined relative angular position of the said lock assembly (10) and of the said actuator cam (22). <IMAGE>
