Abstract (en)
The device is used for partitioning a cabin of a commercial aircraft into a working area for personnel on the flight and a payload area. The device is essentially formed from a non-transparent wall part and at least one window part. The window part is formed from two transparent covering layers arranged essentially parallel to one another. A liquid-crystal film is arranged between the covering layers and is connected to a control device to provide a control voltage for at least one transparent operating mode and at least one milky opaque operating mode. <IMAGE>

Die Vorrichtung dient zur Unterteilung einer Kabine eines Verkehrsflugzeuges in einen Arbeitsbereich für Flugbegleiter sowie einen Nutzbereich. Die Vorrichtung ist im wesentlichen aus einem nichttransparenten Wandungsteil sowie mindestens einem Fensterteil ausgebildet. Das Fensterteil ist aus zwei im wesentlichen parallel zueinander angeordneten transparenten Decklagen ausgebildet. Zwischen den Decklagen ist eine Flüssigkristallfolie angeordnet, die mit einer Steuereinrichtung zur Bereitstellung einer Steuerspannung für mindestens einen transparenten und mindestens einen milchig trüben Arbeitszustand verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
