[origin: GB2274576A] A food processor comprises a container (2) removably mounted on the processor body (1) and a lid (3) for the container (2). The lid (3) is secured on the container (2) by an upstanding member (13) on the body (1) over which a tubular aperture (7) extending up from the base of the container (2) is mounted such that the upstanding member (13) extends upwardly through the container (2). The upstanding member (13) engages with a central boss (16) depending from the underside of the lid (3) so that engagement of the lid (3) with the upstanding member (13) also serves to secure the container (2) on the body (1). The upstanding member (13) may comprise a fixed shaft around which is disposed a rotatable drive shaft (10) for rotatably driving a processing tool (5) within the container (2). The upstanding member (13) may also contain a safety interlock (18, 19) for preventing operation of the food processor without engagement of the lid (3) with the upstanding member (13). <IMAGE>

Robot de cuisine comprenant un récipient (2) monté de manière amovible sur le corps (1) du robot ainsi qu'un couvercle (3). Le couvercle (3) est fixé sur le récipient (2) à l'aide d'un élément vertical (13) monté sur le corps (1) au-dessus duquel s'ouvre verticalement depuis la base du récipient (2) une ouverture tubulaire (7) de telle sorte que l'élément (13) soit positionné verticalement à travers le récipient (2). L'élément vertical (13) vient en prise avec un moyeu central (16) situé sur le côté inférieur du couvercle (3), de telle sorte que l'enclenchement du couvercle (3) avec l'élément vertical (13) assure également la fixation du récipient (2) sur le corps (1). L'élément vertical (13) peut comprendre un arbre stationnaire autour duquel est disposé un arbre d'entraînement rotatif (10) destiné à entraîner en rotation un accessoire (5) à l'intérieur du récipient (2). L'élément vertical (13) peut également contenir un verrouillage de sécurité (18, 19) destiné à empêcher le fonctionnement du robot lorsque le couvercle (3) n'est pas enclenché dans l'élément vertical (13).
