Bei einem Verfahren zum Ansteuern einer Zündspule, ist vorgesehen, daß zur Übermittlung zusätzlicher Informationen zur Steuerung der Zündenergie zwischen Steuergerät und Zündendstufe in einem Zeitbereich, der für die Zündung keine Bedeutung hat, zwischen zwei Zündimpulsen (N2, N3) ein zusätzlicher Steuerimpuls (E) übertragen wird. <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
