Abstract (en)
The hinge comprises a hinge-piece (4) solidly attached to the face part (1) of a spectacles frame and fitted with a cam (21), and a hinge-piece (5) connected via a device having permanent magnets to the arm (2). This device has a casing (10) comprising a front face (20) intended to interact with the cam (21) and a housing (11) in which an extension (12), solidly attached to the hinge-piece (5), is mounted so that it can slide. The casing (10) and this extension (12) are fitted with two permanent magnets (14, 25) which mutually attract so that the front face (20) is strongly pressed against the cam (21) in order to define open and folded positions of the arm (2). By this arrangement, a springless elastic hinge having simple design is obtained. <IMAGE>

La charnière comprend un charnon (4) solidaire de la partie face (1) d'une monture de lunettes et munie d'une came (21) et un charnon (5) relié par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif à aimants permanents à la branche (2). Ce dispositif présente un boîtier (10) comportant une face frontale (20) destinée à coopérer avec la came (21) et un logement (11) dans lequel est monté de façon coulissante un prolongement (12) solidaire du charnon (5). Le boîtier (10) et ce prolongement (12) sont munis de deux aimants permanents (14, 25) s'attirant mutuellement de façon que la face frontale (20) est sollicitée fortement contre la came (21) pour définir des positions ouverte et repliée de la branche (2). Par cette disposition, on obtient une charnière élastique sans ressort d'une construction simple. <IMAGE>
