2.1 In the case of a refuse container having a refuse-container body on the upper edge of the front wall of which there is integrally moulded a suspension strip which delimits a downwardly open receiving hollow into which a chip holder capable of being equipped with a data carrier is arranged, it is to be achieved in a simple way that not only newly manufactured refuse containers but also those already in use can be retrofitted with a data carrier in the form of a chip. 2.2 According to the invention, the chip holder (16) comprises a profiled body (18) which is fitted, in closing fashion, into an insertion opening (15) of a leg (13) of the suspension rail (11), the leg being situated parallel or approximately parallel to the front wall of the refuse-container body. Integrally moulded on the chip holder (16) is at least one snap element in the form of a spring web (22, 23), the free end of which grips internally behind the edge delimiting the insertion opening (15). The profiled body (18) is additionally provided with a covering flange which bears externally on the edge delimiting the insertion opening (15). 2.3 The refuse container according to the invention is usable especially for domestic purposes. <IMAGE>

2.1 Bei einem Müllbehälter mit einem Müllbehälterrumpf an dessen oberer Kante der Vorderwand eine Einhängeleiste angeformt ist, die eine nach unten offene Aufnahmehöhlung begrenzt, in die ein mit einem Datenträger bestückbarer Chiphalter angeordnet ist, soll in einfacher Weise erreicht werden, daß nicht nur neu gefertigte, sondern auch bereits benutzte Müllbehälter mit einem Datenträger in Form eines Chips nachgerüstet werden können. 2.2 Erfindungsgemäß beinhaltet der Chiphalter (16) einen Profilkörper (18), der schließend in eine Einstecköffnung (15) eines parallel oder annähernd parallel zur Vorderwand ziehendes Müllbehälterrumpfes stehenden Schenkels (13) der Einhängeleiste (11) eingesetzt ist. An dem Chiphalter (16) ist wenigstens ein Schnappelement in Form eines Federsteges (22, 23) angeformt, dessen freies Ende den die Einstecköffnung (15) begrenzenden Rand innenseitig hintergreift. Der Profilkörper (18) ist außerdem mit einem Abdeckflansch versehen, der außenseitig an dem die Einstecköffnung (15) begrenzenden Rand anliegt. 2.3 Der erfindungsgemäße Müllbehälter ist besonders für den Gebrauch im Haushalt verwendbar. <IMAGE>
