Abstract (en)
The invention relates to an assembly for the take-up and feed of the weft on a positive-transfer weaving machine, using insertion members, such as lances or bands, equipped with grippers, with exchange in the middle of the forming fabric. The gripper which feeds the weft (2) to the exchange point comprises, in addition to a main device (3, 4, 5) for clamping the weft, a weft-retention device (7) located on the same side as the main clamping device. The retention device (7) comprises two levers (11, 12) mounted pivotably in the same plane along respective transverse axes (6, 17) and describing simultaneous and opposed pivoting movements by means of a suitable mechanical connection (19, 20), in order to offer a wide passage for the weft (2) in the open position, whilst holding it effectively in the closed position. This gripper is used particularly for very coarse wefts or wefts consisting of fancy thread. <IMAGE>

L'invention se rapporte à un ensemble de prise et d'amenée de la trame sur une machine à tisser à transfert positif, utilisant des organes d'insertion tels que lances ou rubans munis de pinces, avec échange au milieu du tissu en formation. La pince qui amène la trame (2) jusqu'au point d'échange comprend, outre un dispositif principal de serrage (3,4,5) de la trame, un dispositif de retenue (7) de la trame situé sur le côté du dispositif principal de serrage. Le dispositif de retenue (7) comprend deux leviers (11,12), montés pivotants dans un même plan suivant des axes transversaux respectifs (6,17), et décrivant des mouvements de pivotement simultanés et en sens opposés, grâce à une liaison mécanique adaptée (19,20), pour offrir un passage important à la trame (2) en position ouverte tout en la maintenant efficacement en position fermée. Cette pince s'applique en particulier aux trames très grosses ou en fil fantaisie. <IMAGE>
