[origin: DE4323943C1] Illustrated is a cleaning device, in particular for covering with a woven of knitted textile base material (2), from which protrude pile threads (10), pile fibres or pile loops which exhibit cleaning action, and a fastening device (12, 12') formed on the base material (2) and intended for receiving a stretching frame holding the cleaning device, in which arrangement an elongate piece of trimming (4) is fastened to the base material (2) along a marginal edge (6) in such a way that the web width of the base material (2) between a fastening line (6, 8) is greater than the corresponding web width of the piece of trimming (4), so that the base material (2) curves or turns up between fastening lines (6, 8). <IMAGE>

Offenbart wird eine Reinigungseinrichtung, insbesondere zur Bespannung mit einem gewebten oder gewirkten textilen Grundstoff (2), von dem eine Reinigungswirkung entfaltende Florfäden (10) bzw. -fasern oder -schlingen abstehen, und einer an dem Grundstoff (2) gebildeten Befestigungseinrichtung (12, 12') zur Aufnahme eines die Reinigungseinrichtung haltenden Spannrahmens, wobei auf dem Grundstoff (2) entlang einer Randkante (6) ein längliches Besatzstück (4) derart befestigt ist, daß die Bahnbreite des Grundstoffs (2) zwischen einer Befestigungslinie (6, 8) größer ist als die entsprechende Bahnbreite des Besatzstücks (4), so daß sich der Grundstoff (2) zwischen Befestigungslinien (6, 8) wölbt bzw. umlegt. <IMAGE>
