Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Färben von Pelzfellen mit Oxidationsfarbstoffen, bei dem die Pelzfelle zunächst vorbehandelt und anschließend gefärbt werden, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß die Pelzfelle mit einer Metallbeize enthaltend Glyoxylsäure vorbehandelt werden.
