Abstract (en)
The wear plate (shield) (5) of the invention is intended to be wedged on to the interior surface of the cylindrical shell of a ball mill. In a known manner, it includes at least one assembly face (11) which is provided with a housing intended to receive a wedge. According to the invention, the wedge is a ball, and the housing (12) is designed to receive part of the ball. More particularly, one assembly face (11) is provided with two identical housings (12) which are symmetric to one another relative to the longitudinal axis (5a) of the wear plate. <IMAGE>

La plaque de blindage (5) de l'invention est destinée à être montée par clavetage sur la surface intérieure de la virole cylindrique d'un broyeur à boulet. De manière connue, elle comporte au moins une face d'assemblage (11) qui est pourvue d'un logement destiné à recevoir une clavette. Selon l'invention, la clavette est une bille, et le logement (12) est conçu en sorte de recevoir une partie de la bille. Plus particulièrement, une face d'assemblage (11) est pourvue de deux logements (12) identiques, symétriques l'un de l'autre par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (5a) de la plaque de blindage. <IMAGE>
