[origin: FR2695655A1] The heating unit, for a moving yarn, gives successive heating phases by a heating block (1) with a cylindrical assembly of two heating zones (A,B) with yarn guides. The zones are developed by resistances (R1,R2) embedded within the assembly. They are mounted in parallel, in succession along the block length. Each has a thermo-couple (TC1,TC2) for accurate temp. control. Pref., the heating block has a large dia. zone where the yarn pref. follows a spiral contact path. Where there are two cylindrical sections of the same dia., pref., with a gap between them, the yarn follows a tangential spiral round the surface for conductive heat, and be subjected to radiant heat in the gap. The heating block is a ceramic or stainless steel cylinder, each with an embedded resistance linked to a thermo-couple. The thermo-couples and their electrical supplies are at the same side. A yarn guide system carries two yarns simultaneously through the heating assembly for contact heating. USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly is for heat treatment of moving yarn material to give shrinkage and/or bulk and/or stretch. The operation gives variable heat exchange actions over different path lengths to give high speed working in a compact appts.

Dispositif pour le traitement thermique de fils en mouvement, par exemple lors d'une opération d'étirage texturation. Il est conçu pour soumettre le fil à deux traitements successifs, l'un à une température élevée, l'autre à une température normale de traitement. Il se caractérise en ce que ces phases successives sont obtenues par l'intermédiaire d'un bloc chauffant (1) constitué par un ensemble cylindrique comprenant deux zones de chauffe (A,B), de part et d'autre desquelles sont prévus des moyens de guidage pour le fil, zones obtenues par l'intermédiaire de deux résistances (R1,R2) noyées à l'intérieur de l'ensemble cylindrique, montées en parallèles, décalées l'une par rapport à l'autre sur la longueur du bloc, et associées chacune à un élément thermo-couple (TC1, TC2) permettant une régulation précise de ladite température. <IMAGE>
