Abstract (en)
The two stroke engine (1) has a cylinder (3), which acts as the combustion chamber. The cylinder has an inlet port (4) and an exhaust port (7), for the evacuation of the burnt gas. The exhaust port is connected to the exhaust system by means of two separate exhaust channels (8 and 9). A distributor valve (10) controls and regulates the flow of exhaust gas through the two exhaust channels, according to the requirements of one or more of the engine operating parameters. The distributor is such that it is designed to direct the flow of exhaust gas towards one or other of the two channels.

Moteur à combustion interne à cycle deux temps (1) du type à carter pompe comprenant un carter (2) dans lequel est agencé au moins un cylindre (3) définissant une chambre de combustion, ledit cylindre (3) présentant au moins une lumière d'admission (4) par où pénètrent les gaz frais et au moins une lumière d'échappement (7) par où sont évacués les gaz brûlés, ladite lumière d'échappement (7) communicant avec une ligne d'échappement par l'intermédiaire de deux conduits d'échappement (8,9) distincts, caractérisé en ce que ladite lumière d'échappement (7) coopère avec des moyens distributeurs pilotés (10) à partir des valeurs prises par un ou plusieurs paramètres représentatifs du fonctionnement dudit moteur (1), lesdits moyens distributeurs (10) étant aptes pour d'une part diriger sélectivement les gaz brûlés vers l'un ou l'autre desdits conduits d'échappement (8,9), et d'autre part modifier selectivement la section de passage de la lumière d'echappement. <IMAGE>
