Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9323605A1] A process for the continuous production of surface coloration on cellulose fibres in the form of textiles by treating the textiles with an aqueous bath containing at least 5 g/l of condensation products, quaternated with benzyl halides, of precondensates of trialkanol amines and ureas, cyclic carbonates and/or epihalogen hydrines and/or condensation products, quaternated with benzyl chloride, of piperazine and epichlorohydrin and 0.02 to 1 g/l of a phosphoric acid triester, the alcohol component of which has 6 to 18 carbon atoms, dyeing the textile thus treated in a separate bath in an aqueousmedium with reactive dyes, fixing the dye by treatment with an aqueous alkaline bath and completing the dyeing in the usual manner. The individual cellulose fibres of the textile are not completely dyed through but rather exhibit ring coloration.
