A motor vehicle with a body open at the top has two pivotable hoods arranged at a distance from one another, each hood being provided with a lock which is connected via a connecting element to an actuating handle of an operating device, and the two hoods being unlockable from the passenger space. In order to develop a device for locking and unlocking two hoods of an open passenger car which are located at a distance from one another, in such a way that, whilst having a simplified design, it can be produced cost-effectively and constitutes an effective anti-theft device, provision is made for assigning the two actuating handles to a common operating device which comprises a bearing housing having a central cylinder lock. Formed-on catches of the two actuating handles cooperate with outer walls of the lock case of the cylinder lock. <IMAGE>

Ein Kraftfahrzeug mit oben offener Karosserie weist zwei mit Abstand zueinander angeordnete, schwenkbare Hauben auf, wobei jede Haube mit einem Schloß versehen ist, das über ein Verbindungselement mit einem Betätigungsgriff einer Bedienungseinrichtung verbunden ist und beide Hauben vom Fahrgastraum aus entriegelbar sind. Um eine Einrichtung zum Ent- und Verriegeln von zwei beabstandeten Hauben eines offenen Personenkraftwagens so weiterzubilden, daß sie bei vereinfachtem Aufbau kostengünstig herstellbar ist und einen wirkungsvollen Diebstahlschutz darstellt, ist vorgesehen, daß beide Betätigungsgriffe einer gemeinsamen Bedienungseinrichtung zugeordnet sind, die ein Lagergehäuse mit einem zentralen Zylinderschloß umfasst. Angeformte Rasten beider Betätigungsgriffe wirken mit Außenwandungen des Schloßgehäuses des Zylinderschlosses zusammen. <IMAGE>
