[origin: WO9323549A2] The invention relates to a nucleic acid comprising all or part of the nucleic sequence of a gene of chromosome 22 involved in the recurrent chromosomal translocations associated with the development of cancerous tumors. The invention also relates to hybrid nucleic acids corresponding to fusion products resulting from chromosamal translocations wherein is engaged said gene of chromosome 22, and more particularly the recurrent chromosomal translocations t(11;22), t(21;22) associated with the sarcoma of Ewing, and t(12;22) associated with the malignant melanoma of soft parts.
