Abstract (en)
A commutator intended to be forcibly fitted onto an alternater shaft, especially for a motor vehicle, is produced by the overmoulding of insulating material on conducting elements and comprises a generally cylindrical body (10a, 10b, 20, 22) which includes, on its outer surface, two slip rings (10a, 10b) connected to two elements (14a, 14b) for connection with the ends of wires (FB) of a winding, the body including a bore (24) for the said shaft and an extension piece (28) made of insulating material beyond one of the two rings, on one side where the fitting force has to be exerted. According to the invention, at least one notch (30, 30', 30'') is formed in the said extension piece, through its entire axial thickness, and leaves visible one edge of the adjacent ring (10b), in such a way that the fitting force can be exerted directly on the said ring through the said notch. <IMAGE>

Un collecteur destiné à être emmanché à force sur un arbre d'alternateur, notamment de véhicule automobile, est réalisé par surmoulage de matière isolante sur des éléments conducteurs et comprend un corps généralement cylindrique (10a, 10b, 20, 22) comportant à sa surface extérieure deux bagues collectrices (10a, 10b) reliées à deux éléments (14a, 14b) de connexion avec les extrémités de fils (FB) d'un bobinage, le corps comportant un alésage (24) pour ledit arbre et un prolongement de matière isolante (28) au delà de l'une des deux bagues, d'un côté où un effort d'emmanchement doit être exercé. Selon l'invention, au moins une encoche (30, 30', 30") est formée dans ledit prolongement, dans toute son épaisseur axiale, et laisse apparaître un bord de la bague adjacente (10b), de telle manière que l'effort d'emmanchement puisse être exercé directement sur ladite bague à travers ladite encoche. <IMAGE>
