Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9325894A1] A test piece (2) partially or completely made of wood is moved in a forward direction (3) through a testing station (1) provided with an image processing system (4). Four line cameras (7) store each a line-shaped section (8) of the surface of the test piece (2). The image signals are used by an image-processing computer (11) for controlling test piece (2) evaluating functions. Fields of luminosity, lines, structural and/or colour patterns are arranged in the field of vision of each image sensor in order to radiometrically, geometrically and/or colorimetrically calibrate them. The thus obtained image signals are used by the image-processing computer (11) in order to recover calibration data and are used for calibrating the corresponding image sensor.
