A table, in particular an office table, having a tabletop (2) and at least one support (4, 12) for supporting the tabletop (2) is proposed. The table has at least one leg (7) and a foot (8) and is adjustable in height. The supports (4, 12) supporting the tabletop (2) have bearing surfaces (3, 13) which are substantially parallel to the tabletop (2) and are adjoined, at an angle, by an inclined bar (5) which leads into the leg (7) from the side and/or from the top depending on the height adjustment. Adjoining the inclined bar (5) is a downwardly extending connecting-link profile (6) which on its outside has height markings (63). In addition, the connecting-link profile (6) has a manually releasable catch mechanism (46) capable of locking into associated catch points of a connecting-link guide (16) of the leg (7). <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Tisch, insbesondere ein Bürotisch mit einer Tischplatte (2) und mit mindestens einem Träger (4, 12) zum Tragen der Tischplatte (2) vorgeschlagen. Der Tisch hat mindestens ein Bein (7) und einen Fuß (8) und ist in der Höhe einstellbar. Die die Tischplatte (2) tragenden Träger (4, 12) weisen im wesentlichen zur Tischplatte (2) parallele Auflageflächen (3, 13) auf, an die sich im Winkel dazu ein Schrägstab (5) anschließt, der abhängig von der Höheneinstellung von der Seite und/oder von oben in das Bein (7) mündet. An den Schrägstab (5) schließt sich ein nach unten erstreckendes Kulissenprofil (6) an, welches an seiner Außenseite Höhenmarkierungen (63) aufweist. Das Kulissenprofil (6) weist außerdem eine manuell lösbare Rastvorrichtung (46) auf, die in dazugehörigen Rastpunkten einer Kulissenführung (16) des Beines (7) einrastbar ist. <IMAGE>
