The invention relates to an apparatus for exchanging a casting tube on a metallurgical vessel, in which the refractory casting tube, having a head plate and a moving base plate, can be placed on slide rails which are arranged on the bottom of the casting vessel and are spring-loaded at least in parts, and can be displaced by means of a drive unit into a casting position, in which the head plate of the casting tube and the base plate rest in a sealed manner in the region of the pouring opening of the vessel, and in which the spent casting tube can be transferred together with the head plate and the base plate into a removal position. According to the invention, it is possible to regulate the maximum metal flow through the pouring opening of the vessel, preferably down to zero, by displacing the casting tube or the base plate. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Einrichtung zum Wechseln eines Gießrohres (1) an einem metallurgischen Gefäß (2), bei welcher das feuerfeste Gießrohr (1) mit einer Kopfplatte (3) sowie eine bewegliche Grundplatte auf am Boden (4) des Gießgefäßes (2) angeordneten, wenigstens bereichsweise federbelasteten Gleitschienen (5) absetzbar sind und mittels eines Antriebsaggregates (6) in eine Gießstellung verschieblich sind, in welcher die Kopfplatte (3) des Gießrohres (1) und die Grundplatte (10) dichtend im Bereich der Ausgußöffnung (7) des Gefäßes anliegen, und bei welcher das verbrauchte Gießrohr (1'') mit der Kopfplatte (3'') sowie die Grundplatte (10) in eine Entnahmestellung überführbar sind. Erfindungsgemäß ist es möglich, durch Verschieben des Gießrohres oder der Grundplatte der maximale Metalldurchfluß durch die Ausgußöffnung des Gefäßes, vorzugsweise bis auf Null, regelbar ist. <IMAGE>
