Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9400790A1] Light-protective eyeglasses with pairs of polarizing disks rotative in opposite directions are characterized in that the inner space of the eyeglass mount is hermetically sealed. For that purpose, the disk actuating means are totally sealed, and, if required, a minimum air-containing dead space is further provided between the fixed and rotative polarization filter disks, the disks can slide upon each other and/or the whole dead space in the eyeglasses is filled with a liquid or semi-solid medium.
