Abstract (en)

Described are fibres having a tenacity of more than 80 cN/tex and a filament linear density of more than 8 dtex which contain as the fibre-forming material an aromatic polyamide which is soluble in organic solvents and spinnable from isotropic spinning solutions. The fibres can be used for example as reinforcing materials, as heat-resistant insulator materials, for producing filter fabrics or as insulating materials.

Beschrieben werden Fasern mit einer Festigkeit von mehr als 80 cN/tex und einem Einzelfilamenttiter von mehr als 8 dtex enthaltend als faserbildendes Material ein in organischen Lösungsmitteln lösliches und aus isotropen Spinnlösungen verspinnbares aromatisches Polyamid. Die Fasern lassen sich beispielsweise als Verstärkungsmaterialien, als wärmebeständige Isolationsmaterialien, zur Herstellung von Filtergeweben oder als Dämmstoffe einsetzen.
