Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a process for manufacturing decorated ceramic and glass products, according to which a coloured ceramic composition containing fine particles comprising ceramic pigments and binder resin(s) and, if desired, further additives is applied by means of an electrophotographic reproduction process to a transfer agent, e.g. paper coated with gum arabic, the transfer agent coated with the coloured ceramic composition is applied to the ceramic or glass product and, after removing the transfer agent, the coloured ceramic composition is bonded to the ceramic or glass product by firing. The invention further comprises decorated ceramic or glass products obtainable by the above process, and also a coloured ceramic composition of the abovementioned type.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von dekorierten Keramik- und Glaserzeugnissen, gemäß dem eine keramische Farbzusammensetzung, die feine Teilchen beinhaltet, welche keramische Pigmente und Bindemittelharz(e) sowie gegebenenfalls weitere Additive umfassen, mittels eines elektrofotografischen Reproduktionsverfahrens auf ein Transfermittel, z.B. ein mit Gummi-Arabikum beschichtetes Papier, aufgetragen wird, das mit der keramischen Farbzusammensetzung beschichtete Transfermittel auf das Keramik- oder Glaserzeugnis aufgebracht wird, und nach Entfernen des Transfermittels die keramische Farbzusammensetzung durch Brennen mit dem Keramik- oder Glaserzeugnis verbunden wird. Die Erfindung beinhaltet weiterhin nach dem obigen Verfahren erhältliche, dekorierte Keramik- oder Glaserzeugnisse, sowie eine keramische Farbzusammensetzung der oben genannten Art.
