Abstract (en)
The ring is composed of three circular arc shaped parts articulated together so as to permit their mutual pivoting in the plane of the ring. The first part (1) extends over an arc of approximately 270 DEG and each of the other two parts extends over an arc of approximately 45 DEG , thereby constituting a complete ring. Male (9) female (10) fastener elements make it possible to close the ring between the first part (1) and the third part (10). In order to open the ring, its suffices to push the articulation (7) between the second and third parts (4, 5) of the ring inwards against the elastic force exerted by the first part (1). The ring is closed by engaging the male fastener element (9) in the female element (10) while displacing the articulation (7) outwards, also against the elastic force of the first part (1). Once the ring has been closed, it is impossible to make it open by means of an outwardly directed force. <IMAGE>

L'anneau est composé de trois parties en arc de cercle articulées entre elles de manière à permettre leur pivotement mutuel dans le plan de l'anneau. La première partie (1) s'étend sur un arc d'environ 270° et chacune des deux autres parties s'étend sur un arc d'environ 45°, en constituant un anneau complet. Des éléments de fermoir mâle (9) et femelle (10) permettent de fermer l'anneau entre la première partie (1) et la troisième partie (10). Pour ouvrir l'anneau, il suffit de pousser vers l'intérieur l'articulation (7) entre les deuxième et troisième parties (4, 5) de l'anneau, contre la force élastique exercée par la première partie (1). La fermeture de l'anneau s'opère en engageant l'élément de fermoir mâle (9) dans l'élément femelle (10) tout en déplaçant l'articulation (7) vers l'extérieur également contre la force élastique de la première partie (1). Une fois l'anneau fermé, il n'est pas possible de provoquer son ouverture sous l'effet d'une force dirigée vers l'extérieur. <IMAGE>
