Actuating device for seat-supports for chairs, particularly for swivel chairs, in which the clamping and releasing of a part which is pivotable with respect to a fixed part is effected by means of lamellae which are subjected to force and which are rotatably anchored on one part without play and on the other part with play, the locking force pressing the lamellae ends anchored with play against a lateral inner wall of one of the parts, and the releasing of the lamellae being effected by means of at least one actuating lever counteracting the locking force. The lamellae ends anchored with play are further hung via bores on a bolt which is displaceable counter to a spring force bringing about the locking force horizontally and transversely with respect to the lamellae in the part receiving the clamping and, on the side facing away from the side wall at which the clamping is effected, is slidingly received in a pressure sleeve, the diameter of which is larger than the bores of the lamellae, the bolt furthermore being equipped behind the pressure sleeve with a stop which bears against the pressure sleeve during active clamping and on its other side is passed through the wall at which the clamping is effected and is equipped externally, at a distance from this wall, with a bearing for a compression spring which acts between the bolt and the wall, presses the bolt outwards and directs the locking force onto the lamellae via the pressure sleeve connected to the bolt by virtue of the fact that the associated actuating lever is pivotably mounted externally on the side wall through which the bolt emerges in a support capable of being firmly anchored to the wall, the actuating lever finally bearing against the bolt end by way of a pressure nose and, in the event of a movement about its pivot axis, moving the bolt counter to the force of the compression spring transversely and horizontally with respect to the lamellae. <IMAGE>

Betätigungsvorrichtung für Sitzträger für Stühle, insbesondere Drehstühle, bei welchen die Klemmung und das Lösen eines gegenüber einem feststehenden Teil schwenkbaren Teils mittels kraftbeaufschlagter Lamellen (8,9) erfolgt, die an dem einen Teil ohne Spiel und an dem anderen Teil mit Spiel drehbar verankert sind und wobei die Feststellkraft die mit Spiel verankerten Lamellenenden an eine seitliche Innenwand eines der Teile preßt und bei welchen das Lösen der Lamellen mittels wenigstens eines der Feststellkraft entgegenwirkenden Betätigungshebels (18) erfolgt, wobei weiter die mit Spiel verankerten Lamellenenden über Bohrungen an einem Bolzen (12) aufgehängt sind, der gegen eine die Feststellkraft bewirkende Federkraft horizontal und quer zu den Lamellen (8,9) in dem die Klemmung aufnehmenden Teil verschiebbar ist und auf der Seite, die der Seitenwand an der die Klemmung erfolgt, abgewandt ist, gleitend in einer Druckhülse (14) aufgenommen ist, dessen Durchmesser größer, als die Bohrungen der Lamellen (8,9) ist, wobei ferner der Bolzen (12) hinter der Druckhülse mit einem Anschlag versehen ist, der bei aktiver Klemmung an der Druckhülse anliegt und auf seiner anderen Seite durch die Wand, an der die Klemmung erfolgt hindurchgeführt ist und außen in einem Abstand von dieser Wand mit einer Lagerung für eine zwischen dem Bolzen und der Wand wirkende Druckfeder (24) versehen ist, welche den Bolzen (12) auswärts preßt und dadurch die Feststellkraft über den mit dem Bolzen (12) verbundenen Druckhülse auf die Lamellen (8,9) lenkt, daß der zugehörige Betätigungshebel (18) außen an der Seitenwand, durch welche der Bolzen (12) austritt in einem an der Wand fest verankerten Bock (22) schwenkbar gelagert ist, wobei schließlich der Betätigungshebel (18) mit einer Drucknase (28) an dem Bolzenende (12') anliegt und bei einer Bewegung um seine Schwenkachse den Bolzen (12) gegen die Kraft der Druckfeder (24) quer und horizontal zu den Lamellen (8,9) bewegt. <IMAGE>
