[origin: EP0650222A1] The invention relates to an electrical flat connector contact socket consisting of a stamped sheet-metal part with a spring arm base which is in the form of a rectangular tube and to which a current outlet device is attached at one end and to which contact spring arms are attached to the other end as extensions, which are bent around into the interior of the spring arm base, of mutually opposite spring arm base walls, as well as forming a contact point within the spring arm base and forming an insertion opening for a contact connector pin in the bent-around region, arms which spring over being cut free from the spring arm base walls to which the contact spring arms are attached and being bent around in the spring arm base, acting on the contact spring arms in a resilient manner in the region of the contact point. <IMAGE>
