[origin: EP0651112A1] The railing comprises balusters or support bars (1) equipped with means (7) of attachment to the ground (6) or to a low wall, these balusters or support bars being connected together at the top of them by a handrail (2) and also, at mid-height, by rails (3, 4, 5). The balusters (1), the handrail (2) and the intermediate rails (3, 4, 5) are formed by tubular sections. The tubular sections which form the balusters (1) have at least one longitudinal channel (10) receiving the means (20) of attachment of the handrail as well as the means (17) of connecting the ends of the rails (3, 4, 5). Closures (13) close off the channels (10) and conceal the means of assembly. <IMAGE>
