[origin: EP0651965A1] - Electrical household appliances using a stream of air. - The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner comprising a fan for producing a stream of air, and monitoring means connected to a component which measures an internal pressure (U3) and to at least one component which measures a differential pressure (U2) of the airstream, said monitoring means being able, in accordance with the result of the measurements of the depression and differential pressure, to keep the depression and the air flowrate below certain limit values. - The invention employs a component which measures the differential pressure and comprises at least two measuring points (7a) and (7b) mounted in the airstream in front of and behind a part (10) containing an aperture (12) of precise dimensions for creating a head loss. - Vacuum cleaner. <IMAGE>
