[origin: DE4224672C1] In an angled plug for connecting a cable (1) of a high-voltage power supply system to a socket (2) in the external cone system having a contact (4) for an insulating body (9) in which the contact (4) is embedded except for its pin contact section (5) and of which the part (10) concentric with the pin contact section (5) forms an internal cone (11) widening towards its free end to accept the conical part (2') of the socket (2), and the inner end of the internal cone (11) has overlapping field control means (17), the latter are formed by a part (17) of the material of the contact (4), the outside of which bears directly on the insulating body (9).
